Finish off the first Leg with a slip stitch and
stuff. Do not finish off the second leg. We are

around both Legs. Use the images below as a
guide.
Now the legs are one piece.
We are going to join the legs to the body.
Join the Legs with the Body
Now we are going to crochet the legs to the
body to make them into one piece.
First we align the Legs to the front of the
body as seen below.
Next, take a Long piece of Light Purple yarn
and thread it through your yarn needle. Use
your yarn needle sew the legs and body
together. Sew through exactly 6 stitches on
the body and 6 stitches through the legs.
(image on next page)
Tie off and weave in the loose ends of the
yarn you just used to sew the body and legs ,
together.
This should leave you with 12 unused stitches
on the body piece and 18 unused stitches on
the front legs piece.
Now we will continue to crochet in the round
around the body and legs.
*Note: When counting rows to check which row you are
on, count from the bottom of the front legs up, not on
the body.

*Note: If you notice some gaping in between the front legs or on the sides of the body where we joined the separate pieces together, just take some yarn of the same color and place a small stitch there to sew it closed.

Eyes & Nose

from the white felt.
For the nose cut out a tiny triangle shape
from the black craft felt.
For the head jewel cut out a small circle from
the red felt.
Use the image below as a reference.
Inner Ear
To make the inner ear, cut two triangle
shapes from the dark purple felt and trim
them up to fit the front side of the crocheted
ear pieces.
Assembly
Use the provided pictures of the finished Espeon as a visual aid to help guide you in the assembly
process.
- Sew the head to the body. Note: it doesn’t have to go on straight. You can slightly turn the
head to the left or right to give Espeon a more interesting pose! - Sew the ears to the head.
- Sew the thighs to the sides of the Lower body. Note: the side of the thighs with the consecutive
decreases should face the front. - Sew the back feet to the front of the thighs.
- Sew the tail to the Lower backside of the body.
- Sew the ear lobes to the ears.
- Apply the eyes, nose, and forehead jewel with glue or a felting needle.
Finished!
