TO MAKE PEGASUS STAND
Top up the stuffing to the end of Round 27.
Thread a length of Cream onto a darning
needle. *Insert the needle down the centre of
the Body and out next to the magic loop, insert
the needle through the centre of the magic
loop and up to the top of the Body, pull tight so
the base indents; rep from * twice more. Knot
the beg and end tail together and weave into
the edge of the Body.
BODY CONTINUED
Continue with Cream.
Round 28 (1dc, dc2tog, 1dc) 7 times. [21 sts]
Round 29 Dc in each st around.
Round 30 (1dc, dc2tog) 7 times. [14 sts]
Round 31 (Working in fl only) Ch1, (tr in next st,
2tr in next st) 7 times, ss to beg tr. [21 sts]
Fasten off.
Fold Round 31 down to create neck.
HEAD
Use Cream, make a magic loop.
Round 1 (RS) Ch1, 6dc in loop. [6 sts]
Round 2 (RS) (1dc, 2dc in next 2 sts) twice.

Round 3 *1dc, (1dc, 2dc in next st) twice; rep
from * once more. [14 sts]

Round 3 (2dc, 2dc in next st) twice. [8 sts]
Round 4 (3dc, 2dc in next st) twice. [10 sts]
Round 5 Dc in each st around.
Round 6 (4dc, 2dc in next st) twice. [12 sts]
Round 7 (2dc, 2dc in next st) 4 times. [16 sts]
Fasten off.
Fold the final round in half to form the Ear
shape and sew closed to secure.

MANE (MAKE 3)
Each piece of Mane is made up of 5 strands.
Make 1 using Denim (Pink), and make 2 using
Light Blue (Mauve).
Ch40.
Strand 1 Ss in second ch from hook, (3dc in
next ch, dc in next ch) twice, dc in next 34 ch.
Strand 2 *Ch40, ss in second ch from hook,
(3dc in next ch, dc in next ch) twice, dc in next
33 ch, leave last ch unworked; rep from * 3
times more to complete strand 3, 4 and 5.
Fasten off.
Wrap the strands around your hook to curl.

WINGS (MAKE 2)
Using Cream, make a magic loop.
Round 1 (RS) Ch1, 7dc in loop. [7 sts]
Round 2 (RS) 2dc in each st around. [14 sts]
Round 3 (1dc, 2dc in next st) 4 times, 6dc.
[18 sts]
Round 4 (2dc, 2dc in next st) 4 times, 6dc.
[22 sts]
Round 5 (3dc, 2dc in next st) 4 times, 6dc.
[26 sts]
Change to Light Blue (Pink).
Round 6 (4dc, 2dc in next st) 4 times, 6dc.
[30 sts]
Fold the Wing in half and ss the edge closed.
Fasten off.

STARS (MAKE 3)
Make 1 using Mustard (Sand) and 2 using Silver.
Round 1 (RS) Ch1, 5dc in loop. [5 sts]
Round 2 2dc in each st around. [10 sts]
Round 3 *(Dc, htr, tr, htr, dc) in the next st, ss in
next st; rep from * 4 times more. [30 sts]
Fasten off.
Pinch the points of the Stars to accentuate the
corners.
Sew the Mustard (Sand) Star to the Body over
Rounds 11-19, using the image as a guide.

TAIL
Using Denim (Mauve), ch40.
Ss in second ch from hook, (3dc in next ch, dc in next ch) twice, dc in next 34 ch, ch45, ss in second ch from hook, (3dc in next ch, dc in next ch) twice, dc in next 39 ch*, ch40; rep from * to once more

Fasten off.
Make one more using Light Blue (Pink) omitting
final ch-45 strand so only 3 strands are worked.

TO MAKE UP
Refer to the images when making up.
Sew Rounds 16-22 of Head to top of Body,
behind the round that has been folded down.
Sew the Ears over Rounds 20-21 of the Head,
14 sts apart.
Sew Mane to the top of the Head, so the curled
ends are positioned between the Ears and the
straight strands run down the back of the Head.
Sew the Wings either side of the Body.
Sew the Silver Stars below the right Ear.
Using black stranded cotton, embroider the
eyes between Rounds 9-11, the eyebrows
approx 4 rounds above each eye, the nostrils
and mouth.
Sew the Tail to the back of the Body, over
