PATTERN INFORMATION
From the Great Depression, to the hippie movement and recently on fashion runways, granny squares have always been around!
Because of their versatility and customization they can be turned into absolutely anything,from the traditional blanket, to summer tops, skirts, bags, cardigans, vests…
Anything! You name it!
They are an excellent way to make use of your scrap yarn and experiment with color
combinations but they are also easy to carry around with you! So what does a you-granny-square look like?

EXPLANATIONS
Incomplete double crochet = make one double
crochet but stop before the final ‘yarn over, pull through’.
Incomplete treble crochet = make one treble crochet but stop before the final ‘yarn over, pull through’.
MEASUREMENTS

Inner flower:
Round 1: Begin with a magic ring, ch 3 (=1 double crochet), 1 dc, *2 incomplete dc into the ring, yo and pull through both stitches*, repeat *-* 11 times in total, sl sp in the 3 ch (12 double crochet clusters in total).
Daisy leaves:
Round 2: Ch 4 (count as 1 tr), 3 incomplete tr into the ch-sp, yarn over and pull through all loops (4 loops), *ch 3, 4 incomplete tr between the dc-clusters, yarn over and pull through all loops (5 loops).*, repeat *-* 11 times in total, ch 2, end with a slip stitch into the top of the first Daisy leaf (12 treble crochet clusters in total).
Outer edge:
Round 3: Ch 4, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc into the same chain space (=corner), ch 1, (3 dc into next chain space, ch 1) x2, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in the next chain space (=corner), ch 1, (3 dc into next chain space, ch 1) x2 (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in the next chain space (=corner), ch 1, (3 dc into next chain space, ch 1) x2, (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) in the next chain space (=corner), ch 1, (3 dc into next chain space, ch 1) x2, sl st in 4 ch.
