(Mustard) ch7. Weave in ends from either side through the back bumps of the first 3ch from their
origin. Use this to sew middle (ch4) to back of bow.
Tightly wrap yarn around middle of bow, forming shape and sealing the 2 pieces together. Then
sew to middle of black arm band
HAIR
All hair sections work as one singular piece. Little hair octopuses I like to think them as.
When finishing a hair section, leave a tail about 4cms longer than the width of the area you’ll
stitch it to. This long tail will be used to weave into the base stitches and allow for easier fitting
when attaching to the head.
ALL HAIR PIECES WORKED IN LIMESTONE COLOUR
FRONT HALF OF HEAD

BACK OF HEAD HALF
BOTTOM HAIR LAYER
(This is sewn up on row 13 on the back of the head, sides matching up to the long strands of
hair from the 1st, main front panel of hair)
Ch27, [2sc, inc] x6, 8sc (Repeat this 12 times)
TOP HAIR LAYER
(This layer works to fill the semicircle of skin left behind after sewing on all previous pieces of
hair. If styled right, it should work from the bottom right (doll facing down) of the hair void, up
and over, to the bottom left corner. Hair pieces here are supposed to overlap a little to create the
illusion of tied up hair.)

*Steps for hat fixing.
Take one of the initial base circles and sew the edging to it. Then sew the brim. BE MINDFUL
when sewing the brim to the hat base, you want the side that had the initial just 20sc to be on
the right side, when facing the front of the doll. This should be the side that will naturally raise
upwards while the other side should remain more at a 90 degree angle to the rest of the hat.
The 2nd base circle is to be sewn in just under the inside (allowing for some very minimal
stuffing in the hat to help prevent the piece sinking in time) DO NOT OVERSTUFF THE HAT.
