Today, the new daily crochet pattern Amigurumi Christmas Deer Gnome Free Crochet Pattern, I want to give you some information about this pattern;

Materials needed:

  1. YarnArt Jeans, 55% cotton, 45% acryl, 50g/160m, next
    colors:
    • brown № 40
    • beige № 07
    • red № 90
    • white № 01
  2. Crochet hook 2 mm or 2.25 mm (US: B, UK:14)
  3. Fiberfill, thick sewing needle, pins.
  4. Piece of cardboard approx. 3 on 3 inch for gnome’s
    base.
  5. Some semi wool or acrylic yarn any thickness for beard.
    If you follow this advice your gnomes will be 18 cm/7 inch.
    Abbreviations:
    ch – chain stitch
    sc – single crochet
    hdc – half double crochet
    dc – double crochet
    trc – treble crochet
    sl st – slip stitch
    inc – increase, 2 sc in the next sc
    dec – decrease, single crochet 2 stitches together
    (16) – number of stitches in a round
    (inc, sc)*N – repeat N times
    BLO – back loop only
    FLO – front loop only
    3dcCL – a cluster of 3 double stitches.
    A cluster of stitches, made into the same stitch or chain
    space that are joined together at the top:
  6. Yarn over, insert hook into stitch and pull up a loop.
    Yarn over, pull through two. (This is essentially
    completing the first half of one double crochet stitch.)
  7. Repeat number one in the same stitch/space until you
    have a total of 4 loops on your hook.
  8. Yarn over, pull through all 4 loops at once.

1.Body
With brown yarn.
Start with making a round base. Work in continuous rounds
without slip stitches.

Cut off the yarn.

Finish the round in an invisible way: thread the end of yarn
through the needle, skip one stitch and guide the yarn into
the next stitch as shown on the photo.
Insert the needle back in the same stitch where the yarn end
is coming from. Pull the yarn and fasten the obtained stitch
on the wrong side of detail.

Horns. With brown yarn.
Part 1. Branch 1:
Rnd 1: 6 sc in Magic Ring (6), go on
in continuous rounds without slip
stitches.
Rnd 2: 6 sc
Cut off the yarn. Finish the round in
an invisible way.
Part 2. Horn:
Rnd 1: 6 sc in Magic Ring (6), go on in continuous rounds
without slip stitches.
Rnd 2-4: sc in each stitch around 3 rounds.
Rnd 5: join the parts and crochet 12 sc (6 sc for the branch,
6 sc for the horn)
Rnd 6: 6 dec (6)
Rnd 7: 6 sc

Cut off the yarn. Finish the round in an invisible way.

Part 3. Branch 2:
Rnd 1: 6 sc in Magic Ring (6), go on in continuous rounds
without slip stitches.
Rnd 2: 6 sc
Rnd 3: join the parts as shown on the photo and crochet 12
sc (6 sc for the horn, 6 sc for the branch)
Rnd 4: 6 dec (6)
Rnd 5-6: sc in each stitch around 2 rounds.

Cut off the yarn. Don’t stuff. Sew to
the hat as shown on the photo

3.Arms
Start with the white yarn.
Rnd 1: 8 sc in the MR, go on in continuous rounds without
sl st.
Rnd 2: (inc, 3 sc)*2 (10)
Rnd 3: 10 sc
Rnd 4: 4 sc, 3dcCL, 5 sc (10)
(3dcCL – a cluster of 3 dc)

Rnd 5: 10 sc
Join brown yarn:
Rnd 6: BLO 10 sc
Rnd 7-13: sc in each stitch around 7 rounds.
Stuff the bottom part of the arm (hand) with fiberfill.
Don’t stuff the top part of the arm so they don’t stick
out.
Fold so that the stitches of the last round line each
other.
Crochet the opposite stitches with 4-5 sc.
Cut off the yarn, leave a long end for sewing.

4.Nose
With red yarn.
Rnd 1: 7 sc in the MR, go on in continuous rounds without
sl st.
Rnd 2: 7 inc (14)

Add some fiberfill.
Close the top using a needle.

5.Assembly and decoration
For beard cut off semi wool yarn, tie a piece of yarn to
the free 10 loops of 23 round. Use pet brush.

Attach the arms, and nose to the body with some pins
between 23 and 24 rounds of the body (to the free loops
of 23th round)

Put on the hat. The top of arms and nose should be placed
under the hat. Move them the way you like.
Take off the hat, sew the arms and nose to the body.
Put on the hat and attach it with simple stitches in 2-3
places.
