Notes


This doll is worked in continuous round unless otherwise specified. Feel free to use any yarn
weight in different colors, as long as you make sure to use a hook size that’s smaller than
the one recommended on the label to prevent any holes.


Dimensions


The finished Hazel is at 17cm (6.7 inches) tall when made using the stated materials.

Arms (make 2)


Start with pale peach yarn.
Rd 1: 6sc in mr (6)
Rd 2-13: 6sc (12 rounds)
Don’t stuff. Fasten off, leaving a long
tail for sewing.

Legs (make 2)


Start with dark brown yarn.
Rd 1: ch 5, start for the 2nd ch from the hook, inc, 2sc,
4sc in the last st, on the other side of the foundation

With the front side facing you, turn your work upside
down.
We are going to skip the first and last 3 stitches to make
a gap for the tail.

Sleeves (Make 2)


For the sleeves, we will make 3dc popcorn st in each ch.
Here is the steps to make a 3dc popcorn st:
YO (yarn over), insert your hook, YO pull through,
YO pull through the first 2 loops (now you have 2
loops left on your hook).
Repeat this two more times until you have 4 loops
on your hook, then pull through all 4 loops.
Row 1: ch 8, start from the 2nd ch from the hook,
(3dc puff) x7 (7).
Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing (Picture 11).
Sew them to her dress and add a string on her

Hair
Start with dark brown yarn.

Start to crochet the hair strands (S). We will start working
the single crochet from the second ch from the hook.
At the end of each strand, slst into the next sc on Rd 4. The
wrong side of the wig will be facing up.

Fasten off (Picture 22).
Secure each strand of hair on the head using pins. Sew or
glue each strand to the head. Use Pictures 23-24 as a guide.

Ribbon


Start with pink yarn.
Ch 70, fasten off.

Start with dark brown yarn.
The stitches in red are made using pink yarn.

Assembly

  • Embroider the eyelashes, nose, eyebrows.
  • Sew the sleeves to her dress.
  • Sew/glue her wig to her head.
  • Sew the ears to her wig.
  • Sew the tail onto her body.
  • Tie the ribbon to her hair.
  • Add some blush on her cheeks.
